Guacamole Recipe




Ingredients:

There is an indefinite number of variations on this classic dip. This recipe is more of a guideline, so feel free to add or leave out ingredients and play with the amounts to make it your own unique guacamole recipe. 

  • 2 cups avocados - peeled, pitted and sliced
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1-2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
  • Lemon juice (optional)
  • Salt (optional)



Directions:

  1. Place sliced avocados into a food processor (for lumpier guacamole, use a blender or mix by hand), and set to medium.
  2. Slowly add salsa until the texture is lumpy. Add the other ingredients and continue to process until smooth. Salt to taste.
