Guacamole Recipe
Ingredients:
There is an indefinite number of variations on this classic dip. This recipe is more of a guideline, so feel free to add or leave out ingredients and play with the amounts to make it your own unique guacamole recipe.
- 2 cups avocados - peeled, pitted and sliced
- 1/2 cup salsa
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1-2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- Lemon juice (optional)
- Salt (optional)
Directions:
- Place sliced avocados into a food processor (for lumpier guacamole, use a blender or mix by hand), and set to medium.
- Slowly add salsa until the texture is lumpy. Add the other ingredients and continue to process until smooth. Salt to taste.
